URGENT Changes to the Fraudulent Mediums Act 1951

Hi,
Some of you may be aware that a law change next April will result in many honest mediums being prosecuted. The government have responded to a petition that was created this year to change "the Fraudulent Mediums Act 1951". This act will be repealed from April 2008.

Whilst we agree that those who are deliberately fraudulent should be prosecuted, we feel that these changes should only go through after extensive consultation with all spiritualist organisations. We need to work together to create unified code of conduct. The danger of doing nothing will leave us powerless to operate as we have been with the potential of taking years to unwind.

For us TO HAVE A VOICE we need as many people to sign the petition as possible.
The deadline for this is 6th Feb 2008. Please forward on to your friends and colleagues.
You must be a British citizen or resident to sign the petition.

Thought I would post this because a lot of people don't know that this even exists even people in the in the U.K are not aware. Its due to be replaced soon. What I understand is that the new act will be on the lines of. If the sitter can prove that what you (The medium) have said to them is lies then your for the chop!!. How the sitter can prove what a medium has said is a lie I don't know, but what I do know is that things are going to be a lot tougher for working mediums in the U.K.
